A few of our donors recently shared the influence that the fraternity has had on them, and why they support Theta Chi in their alumni years:
• “My best friends are my fraternity brothers.”
• “Theta Chi has allowed me to be a strong relationship builder, which has helped me in my career. More importantly, it’s allowed me to be a happier person.”
• “I would say the fraternity has completely influenced the person I am today.”
Hasn’t Theta Chi had a similar impact on you too?
Let us know the ways it has – and
make your annual fund donation – before the giving year ends June 30.

Spring 2009 RecapBy Ken Marlin, Beta Zeta Theta Chi Board of Directors MemberOn October 20, 2008 a serious challenge to the tradition of excellence at 453 Abbott Road was issued to Alumni and Undergraduate Lodgers. Significant damage to the physical structure and a general horrific mess was left by the actives and was broadcast over the internet to those of us who have contributed so much of our time and treasure. I used this event as an opportunity to get involved in an issue that has personally bothered me for many years; lodge maintenance. As some of you know I did not find the October photos as anything new, what was new to me was Alumni outrage over the mess and the ability via the internet to communicate that outrage quickly and effectively.
Since October several positive habits have been reinstituted at the Lodge. Weekend work sessions are back and overall cleanliness has improved markedly as a result. Chris Stadja is installed as House Dad so there is far more accountability between the Alumni and Active members. There is a return of the concept of peer pressure to get things done. This was very evident in the April 26th house meeting where the board presented our enhanced rules for the coming months and years. Overall the exchange was positive and where actives rebelled, other actives hooted them down in a manner very reminiscent of our days. While the situation is still not perfect, improvements are very evident, and there is base to build from.

Continued... Interact with Theta Chi BrothersWe’re excited to introduce a new place in our new alumni community, where you can interact directly with groups of Theta Chi brothers. You can participate in the brotherhood community, create a new group for you and your friends, or join an existing one! Within each group’s page, the members have control over the content. You can upload and share links, videos, photos, events and comments with other members. Create and/or join as many groups as you’d like...such as a group for your pledge class, another for alumni in your major/career field, and maybe another for brothers in your state/region.
